Mood shifts? Identity changes? Emotional complexities of becoming a parent? Reaching out for support takes real courage, especially when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, pregnancy, postpartum shifts, or just the everyday stress of being a woman, you don’t have to go through it alone. I specialize in supporting women through ALL stages of life—from young adulthood to motherhood and beyond. If this feels right for you, therapy with me can feel like a safe space where you can take a breath. Moms, let’s untangle these emotions together. Let’s talk.
I have a special focus on supporting clients through perinatal and postpartum mental health concerns. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion while using theories such as ACT, person-centered, and CBT. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Together, we’ll explore the patterns that are holding you back and build tools to help you feel more balanced, resilient, and connected to yourself. Whether you're dealing with anxious thoughts, sadness you can't shake, or just feeling stuck, our work can help bring clarity and calm to your inner world.
My Program
Amanda is in her second year of the Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Wake Forrest University.
When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m...
Puzzling, being with my kids, binge-watching TV shows and movies, and listening to R&B.
