Are you an individual or a couple looking to better navigate the nuances of relationships, communication styles, and parallel lives? Are you having a difficult time finding your voice, a work-life balance, experiencing anxiety, or feelings of depression? In a co-parenting or intimate relationship and struggling to communicate with each other, recovering from infidelity, preparing to be empty-nesters, or looking for different ways to navigate the immediate, unique needs of the child(ren) in the home? Or is your child having a difficult time in school, adjusting to familial transitions, or simply growing up in these times.
Whether you are new to therapy or circling back, if you answered yes to any of these questions, you may have landed in the right place.
As a Detroit native, I am passionate about supporting children, educators, parents, and the partners who love them all. As your therapist, I will be your advocate for your best life, gently reflecting blind spots and teaching you to do the same. We'll collaborate to create the tools that work best for you, empowering you to trust yourself more and navigate your life better.
My primary therapy modalities are CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Person-Centered Therapy, both designed to center on and support you. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) to support those clients with extensive trauma. I know finding yourself is hard, and some wounds require a different approach. If my method appeals to you, let's begin this journey together!
My Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. I obtained my Bachelor’s of Social Work from Johnson C. Smith University. I also earned my master’s degree in social work from Fordham University, The Jesuit School of New York.
When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m...
an avid foodie. I love trying different, new restaurants in town with my friends and family. I also enjoy working out, running, and visiting the beach in my spare time.
