Mishaun, M., MSW, LCSW-A

Are you overwhelmed and struggling to juggle all the places you need to be and the people that need you? Do you feel like life is pulling you in several different directions at once? Does it feel like everyone is so used to you doing it all, they don’t even check-in? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please know—you’re not alone.

I specialize in working with young adults, women, and caregivers who are experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, challenges with focus and organization, or trauma. I want to assist you in feeling seen and heard. My goal is to remind you to take up space and use your voice. I will help you find the tools to manage your feelings, supporting you at the pace you set, to validate and learn to better manage what you’re feeling.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based strategies,  grounded in a person-centered, strengths-based perspective, because you are the expert on you. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you can build confidence, strengthen your skills, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll explore what works best for you and create tools to support your journey.

My Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with more than twenty years of experience supporting individuals and groups, particularly within school settings and adoption-related contexts.

When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m... enjoying live music, comedy shows, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
