Therapy for Self-Worth, Boundaries, & Personal Growth: Learning to Love Yourself Without Guilt

You can be deeply capable, successful, dependable, and still feel completely exhausted from putting yourself last. If you’re the person everyone relies on, you might find yourself quietly worn out by people-pleasing, overthinking your relationships, questioning your value, or constantly giving more than you receive. Somewhere along the way, you learned how to show up for everyone else while leaving yourself off the list.

That’s where our work begins.

My approach is warm, relatable, and deeply collaborative, combining genuine compassion with the structural tools you need to create real change. I specialize in helping individuals break free from cycles of self-doubt, establish firm boundaries, and dismantle the negative self-talk keeping them stuck. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, untangling complicated relationship patterns, or trying to rebuild your confidence after years of over-functioning, you don't have to carry it alone.

Using evidence-based frameworks like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, we map out what's driving your stress and help you build a relationship with yourself grounded in respect, safety, and self-compassion.

My Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Shaw University (2009) and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Barry University (2017). With over 15 years of behavioral health experience across outpatient, community, and clinical settings, I have been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) since 2022. Outside the clinic, I am a published author, speaker, and community advocate deeply committed to women’s empowerment and local elder care initiatives.

Modalities & Specialized Approach:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifying negative self-talk, dismantling unhelpful thought patterns, and reframing internal narratives about self-worth.

  • Solution-Focused Therapy: Focusing on your current strengths and actionable steps to build confidence, establish boundaries, and create immediate positive change.

  • Motivational Interviewing: Supporting you through life transitions and ambivalence, helping you align your daily choices with your core values.

  • Trauma-Informed Care & Inner Child Work: Exploring how past experiences and relationship patterns influence your current self-image and people-pleasing tendencies.

I am especially passionate about self-worth development, women's empowerment, boundary-setting, and helping high-achieving individuals break free from chronic over-functioning. I take pride in helping clients move past external validation and learn how to love themselves without guilt.

When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m...

Writing, working on publishing projects, speaking at community events, traveling, or finding intentional ways to pour back into my own cup. I believe in practicing the exact principles I teach, setting boundaries, making room for joy, and embracing the beautiful, messy process of growth.
