Morgan introduces herself, her style, and approach!
Morgan R., LCMHCA
Anxiety can make you feel like you’re constantly in your head. Maybe you spend hours overthinking conversations, second-guessing your decisions, worrying about what others think, or trying to prepare for every possible outcome. You may know that you’re overthinking, but still find it difficult to turn your mind off or trust yourself.
I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, self-confidence and self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the effects of childhood or relational trauma. In therapy, we’ll work together to understand what’s underneath the anxiety and why these patterns may be showing up. My goal is not to help you eliminate every uncomfortable thought or feeling, but to help you feel more confident in handling them. We’ll work on quieting the mental noise, tolerating uncertainty, trusting yourself, and becoming more present in your life and relationships.
I incorporate ACT, ERP, CBT, and motivational interviewing into my work, along with a somatic-informed approach. If you’re ready to spend less time stuck in your head and more time living the life you want, I’d love to work with you.
My Experience
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate with a passion for helping individuals who feel uncertain about where to begin or who are interested in giving therapy another try. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and went on to complete a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m…
Exploring new coffee shops, reading psychological thrillers, playing tennis, or enjoying game nights with family and friends.
