Harley L., Ph.D, LCMHCA, LSC, NCC
Would you like to feel more grounded in who you are, more confident in your boundaries, and more capable of facing what comes your way? You’ve been holding it together, but maybe lately the weight of anxiety, identity questions, or systemic stressors might feel too heavy to carry alone. But you don’t have to.
Hi! You're here, and that’s brave. I’m Harley—a counselor and educator who works relationally and culturally responsively with individuals navigating life’s intersections— trauma, anxiety, major transitions, identity, and systemic oppression. As an Indigenous, queer-identifying clinician, I’m grounded in social justice and honor the fullness of your identity.
Here’s how I can support you:
Trauma‑informed and evidence‑based practices
I integrate CBT, strengths-based techniques, and person-centered approaches to support your growth.
A co‑creative therapeutic space
Healing happens through collaboration and curiosity.
Holistic identity work
We’ll explore how your culture, lived experiences, and resilience shape who you are.
Work with me if you’re ready to:
Reclaim your voice, agency, and boundaries
Heal from trauma and systemic harm
Step into your wholeness with compassion and clarity
Let’s build something restorative, together.
My Experience

I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in American Indian and Indigenous Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Arts in Education in Counselor Education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
